Troubleshooting

The problems people actually hit, and the fix.

Calls

Pocket Link says "Waiting for the adapter" with it plugged in

Unplug it and plug it back in; the status line should change within a few seconds. If Android shows a permission sheet, tap Allow. A cable or hub between the adapter and the phone sometimes does not pass USB audio; plug it straight in.

"Pocket can't see incoming calls yet"

A phone permission is missing. Tap Allow phone permissions on the card; if Android no longer asks, open Settings → Apps → Pocket → Permissions and allow Phone and Call logs.

The bot answers, but the caller hears nothing

The adapter is connected but audio is not routed yet (the status line says so). Give it a few seconds on the first call after plugging in; if it persists, switch the voice between Natural and Free and back, which resets the route.

A call to a real person was counted as voicemail

The person started with a long unbroken greeting, or a carrier message played first. The lead keeps the transcript, the list retries it, and the next attempt counts normally. Tell us the call if it keeps happening; the engine learns from these.

"Make Pocket your phone app" does nothing

Android stops showing its prompt after two refusals. Tap the button once more and the card offers Open Android's Default apps, where you choose Pocket under Phone app.

Messages

The bot types a WhatsApp reply but never sends it

A reinstall of the app switches Pocket's accessibility service off. Settings → Accessibility → Pocket → on, then Bot on my WhatsApp works again.

A WhatsApp message to someone who wrote yesterday is refused

The 24-hour window has closed on the Business API. The bot needs an approved template to reach out; it lists them itself. The phone route has no window.

Machines and plans

"3 shells are already open"

Another phone or tab holds them. The terminal lists them; tap Close all, or wait 2 minutes for idle ones to be reclaimed.

Remote desktop is black

Wait a few seconds after a resume, then reload the page. If it stays black, open a new desktop link from the machine screen.

"Pocket-hosted machines need a paid plan"

Upgrade to Pro, or connect your own server or cloud account, which is free on every plan.

"Free holds 100 leads"

Delete leads you no longer work, or upgrade. Imports stop at the limit and tell you how many were added.

A dashboard tile says "Could not load these numbers"

Pull to refresh. Live tiles read your CRM; a pushed tile keeps its last value until the bot updates it.

Runs stopped with "spend cap reached"

The team's cap for this period is used up. An owner or billing admin raises it under Account → Plan → Spend cap, or tops up the wallet.
