Continue your work from the phone
Your Claude Code sessions on your own server, resumed from the phone under your own login. Free.
If you already run Claude Code on a server, the conversations you have there can continue from the phone: same session, same history, same login. Pocket runs none of it. The agent on your machine starts the official CLI as you, with the login you already have, and streams what it says into an ordinary Pocket conversation. The session file on the server keeps growing, so the desktop sees tonight's turns tomorrow.
Set it up once
- Connect the server (Connect a server): either let the app log in over SSH with your password or key and install for you, or copy the install command and run it on the server as yourself with sudo, not as root. The installer notes your account, so the agent may run Claude Code as you and nothing else as anyone else.
- Already connected before this existed? Run this on the server, signed in as yourself, then come back:
echo "pocket ALL=($USER) NOPASSWD: ALL" | sudo tee /etc/sudoers.d/pocket-cli >/dev/null && sudo chmod 440 /etc/sudoers.d/pocket-cli && echo "POCKET_CLI_USER=$USER" | sudo tee -a /etc/pocket/agent.env >/dev/null && sudo systemctl restart pocket-agent - Claude Code must be installed and signed in for that account on the server. Pocket never sees the login; it stays in your home folder on your machine.
Continue a session
In the side menu, every connected server is listed under Servers with a Sessions link; the same screen is reached from the machine's page with Continue a session. The list is what claude --resume would offer you at the desktop: each project folder, each session's title and last prompt, and which ones are live right now. Tap one, type what should happen next, and the turn runs on the server. The conversation opens like any other in Pocket: the words as they are written, every tool call, every result. Your next message in that conversation continues the same session.
A session that is open in a terminal on the desktop is marked live. Resume it from the phone and Claude Code continues it in the background under the same id; or open the terminal on the machine and run claude attach <id> to sit in the same window.
Permissions
The CLI cannot ask you questions from the phone, so you choose per machine: by default edits are allowed and anything else Claude Code would have asked about is refused and reported; Pre-approve every permission lets it run as it would with your approval on every prompt. Your choice is remembered for the machine.
What it costs
Nothing from Pocket, on every plan. Your subscription or API key pays Anthropic as it does today; Pocket carries the words between the server and the phone and holds no model, no credits and no run slot for it. Our machines and our models stay priced as they are, if you ever want them.
Other tools
Codex sessions on the machine are listed; continuing them is next. Chats in Cursor, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT or z-chat cannot be continued as the same thread, since those vendors expose no thread to anyone; they can be imported as context for a new conversation (Import).
