Schedule WhatsApp messages and phone calls, and never set a reminder again
Routines send WhatsApp messages, emails and calls at exactly the time you choose, once or on repeat, and can write a fresh message each time from your data.
A reminder is a note to your future self that you still have to act on. A routine does the job itself. You say when and what, and it happens at that minute, whether your phone is locked, in your pocket or switched off.
Just say it
- "Every day at 8 AM, WhatsApp the delivery team today's route list."
- "Tomorrow at 6 PM, send Mr. Kapoor the invoice on WhatsApp."
- "On the 1st of every month, WhatsApp every tenant a rent reminder with their amount."
- "At 7:30 every evening, call my father and put it on speaker."
- "Every Friday at 5, call each lead that went cold this week and log the outcome in the CRM."
The agent turns that into a routine: a trigger (a time, a cron schedule in your time zone, a webhook, an email, an alert) and an action. You can see it, pause it and edit it in Automations.
Two kinds of scheduled message
- Fixed: the exact text goes out, to the exact number, at the exact time. No model runs, so it costs nothing.
- Written fresh: an agent wakes up, looks at your data (the CRM, a sheet, the warehouse), writes each message, and sends it. "Remind everyone with an unpaid invoice, with their amount and due date."
Scheduled calls
A call is the same thing with a different action. At the scheduled time the agent uses your phone to dial, switch on the speaker, press keys through an IVR, or bring you in, and then logs what happened. The call goes out from your own SIM and your own number, so there's no caller-ID vendor and no per-minute markup.
